Quand Andrew Moore entreprit ses recherches aux Archives de l’Aveyron, à la Société des Lettres de l’Aveyron et aux Archives Diocésaines à Rodez il y a trente ans, il n’y avait pas d’internet et très peu d’ordinateurs. Tout le matériel était sur papier et devait être photocopié ou transcrit. Il reste extrêmement reconnaissant pour toute l’aide si généreusement apportée par ces organisations et leur personnel. Par hasard, et dans l’espoir que cela se révélerait utile un jour, tous ces matériaux ont été stockés dans des cartons et ont survécu (voir photo). Il y a de nombreux documents, ils ont été catalogués dans différentes tables (voir liens).

Tous ces textes sont disponibles sur demande. Idéalement, ils devraient être tous numérisés et publiés en ligne, mais cela prendrait énormément de temps. Pour le moment, si vous êtes intéressé par un document, contactez-nous, il pourra être scanné et numérisé, ou photocopié et envoyé.

When Andrew Moore undertook research in the Aveyron Archives, the Société des Lettres de l’Aveyron and the Archives Diocésaines in Rodez thirty years ago, there was no internet, and very few computers.
