Historiographie

M. Gautier Louyriac est l’auteur d’un mémoire de master II extrêmement complet et détaillé sur le diocèse de Rodez, son clergé et ses fidèles pendant la période prérévolutionnaire, et dans une deuxième partie leur réaction aux évènements de la période, de 1789 à 1795. Plus précisément, il a intitulé son travail, qui a été rédigé sous la direction de Valérie Sottocasa de l’Université Jean Jaurès de Toulouse:

– Le Diocèse de Rodez à la fin du XVIIIème siècle:

            Partie 1:  Etat du diocèse sous l’épiscopat de Mgr Seignelay-Colbert

            Partie 2:  Clergé et fidèles pendant la Révolution (1789-1795)

Il a aussi rédigé pour ce site un ‘Point d’historiographie sur l’histoire religieuse du XVIIIe siècle et du moment de la Révolution française’ qui fait le point sur l’évolution du traitement de la période par les historiens.

Mr. Gautier Louyriac is the author of an extremely complete and detailed master’s thesis on the Diocese of Rodez, its clergy and faithful during the period leading up to the French Revolution, and in a second part, on the consequences of the ensuing event during the period 1789 to 1795.  More precisely, he entitled his work, written under the supervision of Valérie Sottocasa at the Université Jean Jaurès in Toulouse:

He has also written for this site a ‘Article on the religious historiography of the XVIIIth century, and the period of the French Revolution’ which summarizes the evolution of  the treatment of the religious history of the period.
